No family, no home, and no one to call when things go wrong. That’s the harsh reality for so many foster youth.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. With your support, foster youth will have someone to call when things get tough, and hope for a brighter future.

Corporate & Group Projects
Adopt UFC as your charity organization, plan a fundraising drive or sponsor an event.
College Readiness Activities
Assist with a college tour, a workshop or the annual Camp Readiness in the summer.
Life Skills Classes
Experienced individuals are needed to present on a variety of topics including money management, health and fitness and stress management. Whether you are an artist, a poet, a chef or a bank manager, please consider sharing valuable information about your career with our youth.
Fundraising Activities
Plan a fundraising drive for much needed items >
Help out with the Brass Ring Awards Dinner live auction, annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, Cultivate L.A. and other events throughout the year.
Annual Special Events
Help out with UFC’s annual Celebration Graduation, College Within Reach or Pathways Christmas Eve. Volunteers needed to perform a variety of duties.
Holiday Help
Bring friends together to gift wrap. Shop for gifts for our youth or host a holiday gift drive for the kids in our programs. Participate in one of UFC’s holiday events.
Office Assistance
Help with UFC mailings and assembling materials for special events.
Tutoring
Assist 7-12 grade students in College Readiness Program. Help Pathways residents prepare to take the GED and high school equivalency tests.
Provide Jobs & Internships >
Help youth in our Pathways and Education Programs gain valuable hands-on work experience.

If you are interested in more of a long-term volunteer role at UFC, please let us know. We do require a background check and training to work directly with the youth in our programs.
