Craig Ferguson of the Late, Late Show kicked off the evening with his usual witty humor and Christian Kolberg led the incredibly entertaining and successful live auction, raising over $430,000 from the once-in-a-lifetime auction packages and college sponsorships. Thank you to all the generous auction bidders!
A tribute to UFC's late founder, Nancy M. Daly paved the way for a truly heartfelt and memorable evening that included UFC's video "Change a Life Forever", featuring youth stories and successes.
"If you know UFC, then you know that one of the things that makes this organization so special is its people. That started with Nancy, and it flows through all of you in this room – from our Board, staff, donors and volunteers, to the youth we serve – who show us everyday what is possible with determination, resilience and the right kind of support."
Polly Williams, President
UFC College Sponsorship Alumna Falon Jordan provided a glimpse into her life growing up in foster care as she presented Erin Mulcahy Stein with the Nancy M. Daly Founder's Award.
"UFC, my family. Like the coast guard coming out to the sea. They’re the boat that rescued me when I was empty. Even when I couldn’t feel a bee sting, they saved me. UFC, my family."
Falon Jordan, College Sponsorship Graduate
The evening also included some of the best entertainment in UFC Brass Ring history - Seal accompanied by David Foster on piano. Guests were thrilled to be present for such an intimate performance by Seal and David and to also hear Seal's own story about growing up in foster care.
Thank you to everyone involved in making the Brass Ring Awards Dinner a huge success!
