Events for our youth held throughout the year are essential to UFC’s philosophy of working with foster youth to develop familial and communal bonds among each other, UFC staff, and our community as a whole.

College Readiness Retreat
While enjoying the beautiful Santa Monica mountains and the refreshing coastal breeze, CRP scholars participated in the CRP Overnight in August at Temescal Gateway Park. Scholars took part in games and activities geared to build friendships and encourage teamwork. Also, scholars tapped into their creative sides by making dream catchers, reflecting in their journal, and performing in a College Knowledge Talent Show.
