UFC is committed to ensuring that current and former foster youth receive career counseling and guidance. UFC provides youth in our College Sponsorship and Pathways Programs with the opportunity to explore new career and academic paths, which broaden their understanding of the options available to them. UFC staff facilitate career workshops focused on topics such as work ethic, job search techniques, mock interviews, computer skills and conflict resolution. The purpose of UFC’s Career Development Program is to teach youth the skills to secure and maintain employment, and support them as they evolve in their on-going career development.
