Early intervention in a child’s life can make all the difference in helping to establish a successful transition to independence. > FOSTER FAMILIES > CELEBRATION > COLLEGE WITHIN REACH FOSTER FAMILIES The goal of this program is to keep the foster family intact, providing the youth with a solid foundation that helps to meet their personal and educational needs. UFC plays a crucial role in assisting a number of Los Angeles based foster families with financial support for tutoring, educational resources and counseling. UFC also organizes cultural events, birthday and holiday celebrations and summer enrichment activities, all of which are enhanced by the participation of many dedicated volunteers.
