UFC is helping foster youth in Los Angeles graduate from high school, get into college and get a degree, find housing and employment and prepare to live independently. Through our Housing and Education Programs, we can help you acquire the resources and develop the skills to live a happy and successful life.
Applications
Apply to UFC's Pathways Program, College Readiness Program, College Sponsorship Program and Educational Events. If you are a current program participant, access important forms and information.
PATHWAYS TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM
Service-enriched transitional housing program for emancipated foster youth ages 18-23. Applications accepted year-round.
For high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above and plans to attend a four-year college or university. Transfer students also accepted. Referrals accepted July – January each year.

COLLEGE READINESS PROGRAM
Accepting applications for youth entering 7th, 8th or first semester of 9th grade.
For high school seniors with a GPA of 2.8 and above and plans to attend college or trade school in the fall. Referrals Accepted October – January each year.
For students in grades 6-12 living in foster care or emancipated foster youth, as well as caregivers, social workers, lawyers, other service providers and volunteers.
