“Hello! My name is Monica Vargas, and I am excited to join UFC as a Program Coordinator. In 2019, I graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Arts. Prior to UFC, I had the opportunity to teach art and creative expression to students from various backgrounds and experiences which in turn taught me the importance of being a supportive encouragement for our youth. I am passionate about helping young people thrive and be a positive influence for their elected journeys. When I am not working, I enjoy crocheting, making art and reading poetry.”
