Ebony is a go-getter. There is no other way to describe her. She knows what she wants to achieve and doesn’t let anything get in her way. Ebony entered Pathways in 2021. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and excelling at the time. Although comfortable with her position, she had her sights set on more, so she began taking continue courses to become a Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN). Even though she continued to work long hours while studying, her commitment to her dream never faltered. Ebony took her LVN exam and passed on her first attempt. Pathways was able to support her in helping to pay the fee for her licensure, which allowed her to obtain a better, higher-paying job. Although Ebony was happy to have completed what she set her mind to, she is nowhere near done. Ebony plans to become a Registered Nurse (RN) and ultimately dreams of becoming a Nurse Practitioner, a career that requires a master’s degree level of education. Ebony is unwavering in her dedication to get where she wants to go, and we could not be more proud of her or more excited to support her along this journey.
