Meet our Hero of the Month, Maurice James! For nearly 20 years, Maurice James has been an invaluable part of the United Friends family and a dedicated member of the NexGen Board. His expertise brings our annual graduation ceremonies to life, creating unforgettable moments for our graduates. By day, Maurice is the Head of Development and Strategy at LA Times Studios. He holds a degree in A.I. Computer Science from Columbia and an MFA from USC’s Stark Producing Program. Recently, Maurice delved into stand-up comedy, proving “we all pandemic differently.” Whether he’s behind the camera, strategizing media projects, or making people laugh, Maurice is a true multi-talent.
