Our January Hero of the Month is Carrie Lyn Taylor! Not only is she the founder of Global Management Group, but she is also an entertainment industry executive, co-founder of The .Paak House Foundation, and a leader in crypto and the fast-emerging NFT space. She established .Paak House Beyond the Streets (BTS) in 2018, focused on high school foster youth and the challenges they face when they turn 18 and are no longer supported by foster parents or the government. UFC participants were the first group of foster youth to experience BTS. In December 2021, Ms. Taylor and her two daughters invited 20 UFC foster girls to the Taylor Girls 8th Annual High Tea; an event organized to raise more well-rounded, self-aware, accountable young women. The event was held at the Getty Museum and the attendees received an introduction to crypto and NFTs. This month, she plans to gift each of the girls with crypto assets that will double once they complete 1 year of the crypto and NFT educational program she is designing specifically for them.
