Alain is the new Executive Director for Los Angeles County’s newly formed Youth Commission where he will help ensure that no policy, program, or delivery of services in LA County is developed or executed without being informed by the lived experiences and voices of the core constituents – the youth.” As I recall the experiences that brought me to this point”, says Alain, “the years in LA County’s foster care system, the time spent in group homes and transitional living programs I’m encouraged and energized to bring these insights to the Youth Commission.” We are thrilled about your new position Alain and the prospect of partnering to improve the lives of all foster youth in LA County!
