Hi! My name is Angel Perez and I am extremely excited to join the UFC team as a College Counselor. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from UC San Diego with a specialization in Inequality and Social Policy. My work as an educator at a preschool for 3 years, high school for 1 year, and university for 1 year has given me a hands-on perspective of the educational journey of others. Over time I have become increasingly interested in being a resource for young students, with an aim to empower them to be able to lead the life they envision for themselves. In my down time I enjoy making hip-hop/r&b music, and most importantly, playing with my 3 dogs who are the best friends I could ever ask for.
