Brooke Marrujo leads the client segment business and national accounts business development team for the independent broker dealer channel at Capital Group, home of American Funds. She has 27 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 22 years. Earlier in her career at Capital, Brooke established and led the sales operations function for North American Distribution. Before that, she focused on various roles within the institutional business, including business strategy and development for Capital’s defined benefit and defined contribution businesses, consultant relationships, and marketing. Prior to joining Capital, she was a retirement support services director at AIM Management, Inc. working with financial advisors and investors on their retirement accounts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M University, and is Series 7, 24, and 63 licensed. Brooke is based in Los Angeles.
