“My name is Jessica Aceves, and I am excited to be taking on the role of College Counselor with UFC. I graduated from CSUN with my Master’s Degree in Social Work and my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and Civic and Community Engagement. I’ve always been driven to make a difference in the world and hope to continue to pave the way for future generations of youth to feel empowered to create the future they envision with the support they deserve. I have had the opportunity to work with youth of all backgrounds in multiple school settings and have learned so much about what it means to show up for others and hold space for their unique experiences. I really enjoy working with youth and helping them navigate their future and explore their potential. I am also a huge advocate for mental health, wellness, and collective healing. I also enjoy cooking, baking, doing Pilates, and spending time with my dog, Coco.”
