Wednesday, October 11th, 2023

Jorey Worb was born in Toronto, Canada, but calls Los Angeles home. A Berklee College of Music Graduate, Jorey got her start at Record Plant Recording Studio, then worked on Netflix’s comedy-music feature “The After-Party” and was Jennifer Lopez’s brand manager. In 2020, Jorey sold a TV show called GROUP, the story of how she met her husband in group therapy, to WBTV.

After marrying her love of music and film as a music video director, in 2023, she wrapped production on her first short film entitled BITE starring Troian Bellisario. After shadowing a director on GOOD TROUBLE, Jorey’s next directing project goes into production in June 2023. She is repped at Circle of Confusion and has a slate of TV/Film projects committed to telling hidden stories of resilience: anyone who overcomes mental health or trauma or adversity — is a superhero disguised as an everyman.

Jorey is also a board member of City of Hope’s Future Hope – a committee of young entertainment executives who activate altruism and fundraising in the upcoming generation, and she co-founded Grads Go Global, a charity concert that benefits Amani Children’s Home in Tanzania. She also sits on the junior board of MusicCares, advocating for mental health resources for musicians. In 2022, Jorey joined the United Friends of the Children NextGen Board, where she gets to act on her passion for serving youth and raising awareness about early childhood mental health treatment.

In her spare time, Jorey studies spirituality and global music. Jorey has two dogs, Arya and Charlie, with her husband, Alex.
