“Hi, I’m Karla Minero (she/her/ella) and I’m excited to be joining UFC as the Education and Employment Coordinator. I hold a B.A. in Sociology-Social Inequality from UCSD and an M.Ed in Educational Counseling from USC. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of high schools and post-secondary institutions, where I’ve supported students in finding their path and overcoming challenges along the way. When I’m not working, I stay active by playing flag football, soccer, or weightlifting, and I enjoy exploring creative outlets like painting, writing poetry, and building Lego sets. I also love spending time with my friends, family, and my two dogs, Nova and Lala, finding joy in the small moments.”
