“Hello. My name is Lener Jimenez, and I am thrilled to be joining UFC as the Wellness Manager (Clinical Therapist). I am a graduate of Biola University with a Psychology degree and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work at USC. I am currently a PhD student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology pursuing a Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership. I was born and raised in Southern Central Los Angeles, seeing the struggles and challenges that many of my friends, neighbors, and family faced due to the lack of resources. I made it my mission to educate and prepare myself to help those who were/are not able to help themselves. I started my career working for the local school district in the special education department. In turn, I see the importance of assisting and providing the appropriate services to the younger generation that lack to tools and resources to address or cope with challenges. However, having the tools and resources these young people will be able to reach a level of success as adults. During my leisure time, I engage in Mindfulness/Wellness activities (working out, hiking, theme parks #Disney key holder, meditation, beach, and traveling).”
