“My name is Maricela Gama, and I graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University where I received a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed my practicum at HealthRight 360, where I had the opportunity to work with parolees in the community reentry phase, specifically addressing the challenges of dual diagnosis. For several years, I have been dedicated to serving the Native American community working for Torres Martinez Tribal TANF, where I’ve held various positions including Case Manager, Career Guidance Specialist, and Education Guidance Counselor. My experiences in these roles have deepened my commitment to supporting individuals and families in their journeys toward stability and growth. In my free time, I love taking my dog Oakley on hikes and going camping with my family. I believe that nurturing both mental health and connection to the outdoors is essential for overall well-being.”
