The Los Angeles County Office of Education is providing UFC with $20,000 to fund multiple day college visits this summer. The college visits will be coordinated in partnership with GoCampusing. GoCampusing provides all-inclusive college tours for middle school, high school, and transitional age youth. We are currently in the planning stages, but we aim to host three trips for our youth this summer. UFC college students and alumni consistently report the profound impact that visiting college campuses during their middle school and high school years had on their decision to attend college and earn a college degree. After three years were of virtual college tours, we are excited to return to in-person visits.
